Alumni Profile - Christopher Di Fronzo, E96, Ameriprise Financial

Q: What are the best things about working for your employer?
A: The ability to help clients achieve their dreams and goals in a fast-paced environment. No two client situations are the same, so that means I am always thinking and learning. It's a solid, stable company with strong earnings potential.

Q: What are some challenges you face?
A: The financial industry is challenging in that even though I work for a strong company we are included in the same sentence as some financial companies that are struggling. Dealing with turmoil in the markets and working with clients through a downturn can be challenging.

Q: Do you have any advice for students looking to gain experience in your industry?
A: There is no better time to join the financial services industry. Even though it
is a tough time and there is a lot of financial uncertainty, more people will retire over the next 20 to 30 years than at any time in history and pass on their estates on to the next generation. This is when we, as financial advisers, can help the most.
